ABOUT
Felicity Keefe is a contemporary landscape painter whose work explores the shifting atmospheres of the natural world and the inner landscapes they reflect. Exhibited widely across the UK and internationally—in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Paris, Singapore, and at all of London’s major art fairs—her paintings are known for their brooding intensity, stark beauty, and a quiet sense of narrative.
Rooted in the British landscape, Felicity’s practice responds to the changing seasons, to weather, light, and time. Yet these works are more than depictions of place: they weave together traditional landscape, literature, and personal mythology into layered inner worlds. Water, in particular, recurs throughout her paintings—both as an element of the land and as a potent metaphor. Drawn to its ancient associations with healing, purification, wisdom, and transformation, she explores water as a shifting, reflective presence that underlies life itself.
Her paintings speak of flux and transition—day into night, calm into storm, outward into inward. They are landscapes that describe both an environment in motion and the deeper movements of the self. Felicity lives and works in Bath.

Notes On The Collection - THE FERTILE VOID
There is a precision and clarity to winter, a shedding of everything that is no longer needed, a sacred release, a deep seasonal sigh. Life sinks below the ground and the frost starts to slowly creep above it. Within this turning of the year we head towards a season of magical stillness, a fertile void, a soft resonant space from which we can dream ourselves into being.
The work in this set of paintings aims to capture the feel, tone and colours of those deeply magical days, as we head into November, step into the liminal and watch the veil between worlds become increasingly thin.
The focus is on connectivity between the water and the Land, the above and the below, the inward and the outward. A series of re-imagined landscapes, rooted within the Celtic soil, held within the elements, spread out below a stretch of silver skies…
