SUSIE REDMAN
Cloth changes a table.
It softens the surface, absorbs sound and creates a place upon which everything else can gather. Susie Redman’s woven runners bring that quiet layer to GATHER.
Breton offers the familiarity of linen, while Wild Cherry introduces something less expected: Japanese paper yarn wrapped in fine silk, woven into a dark, irregular surface that recalls peeling cherry bark.
As autumn draws us back inside, we were drawn to that combination of softness and texture — and to Susie’s wider practice of growing, gathering and working with natural fibres. Cloth not simply as decoration, but as the beginning of setting a table.
